FIA Motorsport Games 2024 – all entries are out!

Drifting returns to the third edition of the FIA Motorsport games from 23-27 October in Valencia, Circuit Ricardo Tormo. It’s been a remarkable year for Spanish drifting as the racetrack of Valencia has given home to two large drift events this year. The opening round of the Drift Masters Grand Prix back in May, and the Motorsport Olympics this weekend.

The organizers of the 2024 Motorsport Games are once again welcoming drifting on board: “Drifting has been a part of the FIA Motorsport Games since the inaugural edition in 2019 and once again promises to be a fiercely contested discipline at this year’s event in Spain. Indeed, a field of 33 nations will compete for gold when the action gets underway in Valencia, establishing a new record number of Drifting entries.” – FIA Motorsport Games (Source below)

The full entry list for the discipline of drifting has recently been published; here, we show you that teams of 33 nations are going to face each other in the frame of this unique competition.

There are returning and new nations as well: The 2019 Motorsport Games winner-nation in drifting discipline, Ukraine, will be represented once again by Dmytro Illiuk. Spectators of the Circuit Ricardo Tormo this weekend can also root for the 2022 Motorsport Games gold defender, Kristaps Bluss from Latvia.

The countries of Japan, Uzbekistan, Libanon, Brazil, El Salvador, Israel and Kosovo will debut in drifting in the history of the Motorsport Olympics. Besides the former winners, it is important to mention some of the most acknowledged drivers on the grid.

3x times Estonian and 1-time Baltic drift champion Kevin Pesur would like to finish this season as he’s started it – with a victory in Valencia, but this time at the Motorsport Games under the flag of Estonia.

Polish drift and rally competitor Jakub Przygonski achieved 3rd place in Marseille at the previous edition of the event. Can the 5x-time Polish national drift champion climb up to the highest step on the podium this time?

2021 Formula Drift America rookie of the year Simen Olsen is back in Europe to bring glory to the Norwegian flag in drifting. To single out the domestic competitor of the Spanish edition of Motorsport games, the winner of the 2023 Spanish National Drift Championship, Ruben Bolanos Lopez will do everything in order to keep the trophy on home soil this year – that has never happened in history of the drifting discipline yet.
