The qualifying session of the drifting discipline at the third edition of FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia, Spain, has just finished this afternoon. We are expecting some top-class battles tomorrow on the race day.
With Joakim Andersson on board, Team Sweden topped up qualifying with an incredibly smooth 93-point run.
The 2022 FIA Motorsport Games bronze medalist, Jakub Przygonski, did a great job under the Polish flag and came second.
Japan – the birthplace of drifting – is competing at the Motorsport Games for the first time, and with Koji Tada behind the steering wheel, they claimed third place in the qualification.
