Top 32
Bye run for Sweden (Joakim Andresson). Due to engine failure, Luca Fuschini (Italy) couldn’t make it to the start, and Christos Chantzaras (Greece) performed his bye-run.
Estonia (Kevin Pesur) – Uzbekistan (Dilshod Yusupov): Kevin wins.
Spain (Ruben Bolanos Lopez) vs United Arab Emirates (Hazaa Alhosani): Run stops drifting during his lead run – gearbox issue. Hazaa moves to the Top 16.
Norway (Simen Olsen) vs Kosovo (Dijon Kajtazi): Kajtazi spins at the end of his lead run. Simen get the win.
Lebanon (Mohamad Chehab) vs Ukraine (Dmitrij Illiuk): Both drivers made mistakes in the first run. Mohamad did a worse chase run, and Illiuk won.
Netherlands (Bas Mul) vs Czech Republic (Zdenek Kaderabek): Bas loses a right rear wheel, and drivers collide.
Hungary (Robert Petri) vs Luxembourg (Rohan Van Riel): Rohan makes a mistake in his chase run. Robert spins in his chase run. OMT.
Poland (Jakub Przygonski) – bye run.
Turkiye (Berfu Tutumlu) vs the United Kingdom (Lwi Edwards): Lwi drives a much better lead run and wins.
Israel (Itay Sadeh) vs Georgia (Mevlud Meladze): an incomplete for Mevlud at his chase run. Georgia is out.
Lithuania (Andrius Vasiliauskas) – Portugal (Joao Vieira): Great two runs for both drivers. Both lead runs are very similar. Joao was better on his chase run.
Japan (Koji Tada) vs Argentina (Rodrigo Gallo): Rogrido made a big mistake in his lead run.
Denmark (Mads Benjamin Andreasen) vs Switzerland (Abdul Karim): Two close battles! Mads chase was better.
Latvia (Kristaps Bluss) vs Brazil (Rafael Marinho): Way better chase run from Kristaps.
El Salvador (Nasser Alharbali Urias) vs Belgium (Pieter Van Hoorick):
Top 16
Sweden (Joakim Andersson) vs Christos Chantzaras (Greece): Good run from both drivers and some mistakes from a Greek driver in the lead.
Estonia (Kevin Pesur) vs United Arab Emirates (Hazaa Alhosani): Run 1 – Hazaa keeps pushing Kevin as Estonian performs a good lead run. Run 2 – drivers crashes at initiation. More blame goes to Hazaa.
Norway (Simen Olsen) vs Ukraine (Dmitrij Illiuk): Run 1: Simen doesn’t perform the best run as Dmitrij lacks some angle in his chase run. Run 2: Illiuk misses some OZs.
Luxembourg (Rohan Van Riel) vs Czech Republic (Zdenek Kaderabek): Rohan spins in his chase run.
Poland (Jakub Przygonski) vs United Kingdom (Lwi Edwards): Two great runs! Polish driver advances to the Top 8.
Israel (Itay Sadeh) vs Portugal (Joao Vieira): What a great chase run from Joao and a good chase from Itay! It’s an OMT!
Japan (Koji Tada) vs Denmark (Mads Benjamin Andreasen): Both drivers made mistakes, and Koji won.
Latvia (Kristaps Bluss) vs El Salvador (Nasser Alharbali Urias): There was a contact in run 1 between drivers, and it started to rain before run 2. That was a good chase run from a Latvian driver. OMT. Contact at OZ1. Nasser couldn’t fix his car, and Bluss advanced to the Top 8.
Top 8
Sweden (Joakim Andersson) vs Estonia (Kevin Pesur): Good driving from both drifters, and Joakim advances to the semifinal.
Norway (Simen Olsen) vs Czech Republic (Zdenek Kaderabek): No significant mistakes from both drivers, and Olsen moves to the Top 4.
Poland (Jakub Przygonski) vs Israel (Itay Sadeh): Itay Sadeh’s car couldn’t be fixed in time, and Jakub gets another bye-run.
Japan (Koji Tada) vs Latvia (Kristaps Bluss): Koji spins at the finish line as Kristaps was very close during the run.
Top 4
Sweden (Joakim Andersson) vs Norway (Simen Olsen): Scandinavian semifinal! Good show during both runs – will it be an OMT? The cleaner lead run from Simen as chase-to-chase runs is very similar.
Poland (Jakub Przygonski) vs Latvia (Kristaps Bluss): Amazing driving from both drifters, and it’s OMT!
Battle for 3rd
Sweden (Joakim Andersson) vs Latvia (Kristaps Bluss): yet another great run from both drivers. Joakim gets a bronze medal!
