The last couple of weeks have been pretty crazy, and with the announcement that I will drive Formula Drift and Drift Masters, I thought it’s best to clear some confusion.
I will drive a full Drift Masters Grand Prix championship, all six rounds, for Shanahan’s professional Drift team in my GT86. I’m ready to give it everything to defend the championship, and I’m excited to work with the team and all my incredible partners for the season ahead.
And yes, I will also drive Formula Drift but, unfortunately, will miss one round, round two of the championship road Atlanta, as I have contracts to drive a full DMEC championship, which is a round clash. I will drive the other seven rounds of the championship starting in Long Beach on April 11th-12th. I’m really looking forward to this challenge and can’t wait to push hard and try to make my first season in America as successful as possible. The story about how this happened is pretty crazy, and I will tell you all very soon the plan and what car I will drive, the car I’m driving will surprise a lot of people, I can’t wait to show you the awesome partners I will work with to make the FD season possible!
