Massive news from last week: The Repco D1NZ Pro Championship class will compete on Control Tyre brands from 2025 and beyond.
There has been much discussion and debate in pitlane over the last few seasons about the types of tyres and compounds available on the market for competition drifting – some of which are arguably significantly different in design, compound, longevity and grip level.
Manufacturers looking to have their tyre brands in the D1NZ competition will need to undergo significant testing and approval before joining the series.
