The massive Hungarian drift summer is about to begin: Drift Kings Summer Festival – Round 2 of Hungarian National Drift Championship and Round 3 of Drift Kings International Series is going to blow all drift fans’ mind this weekend in Máriapócs! The anticipation is getting high as we are preparing for the first drift race in Hungary in 2025. This weekend offers unlimited tire smoke, adrenaline, and the toughest drivers of Europe, all in one place: at the iconic RabócsiRing circuit.
This time Pro drivers will use the classic manji layout of RabócsiRing circuit, will Pro2 category will happen on the small, omega layout. For the next stage of Hungarian Championship and Drift Kings in August, the organizers are planning to introduce a new, never used layout at the racetrack.
This weekend’s race in Hungary is going to be the most international race of the current season so far with 55 drivers from 18 nations! The driver list was published in the beginning of this week.
As we are arriving to half-way of both the Hungarian championship and Drift Kings, the excitement gets really high about the title contest: in the domestic series Norbert Zamecz and Michele Landolfi seem to continue a tough battle against each other for the Hungarian crown, while Gediminas Levickas and Massimo Checchin also need to throw everything in, to finish on the top of the championship in the end of the year.
