Round 1 of the 2025 Oman International Drift Championship has concluded, delivering surprises for European drift fans as none of the Drift Masters drivers reached the finals.

Top 32
The first surprises happened already in the Top 32 battles. Ahmad Daham and Tomas Kiely spun in their chase runs and were eliminated.
Oman rookie Maxim Grossman overcame Chris Brady, who was 10th overall in 2024.
Top 16
Another Oman rookie, Artiom Shabanov, eliminated local star Haitham Alhadidy.
Top 8
Qualification leader Ahmed Al-Amri had to run an OMT to beat Leonid Shneider.
Top 4
After the OMT battle, Ahmed Al-Amri eliminated Drift Masters pilot Benediktas Čirba from Lithuania. Another Drift Masters representative, Clint van Oort, lost to Ali Makhseed.
Finals
Clint was better in his battle with Čirba, while Makhseed overcame Al-Amri in the final.
