Now that we have the fully painted Liberty Walk bodykit on, we can finally drop the car off the lift for the first time! Got the american flag painted valve covers back, so it’s time for those to be ceramic coated, assembled with the new coils and then sent over to Gromm Racing to finish off the motor. While all of that was happening, it gave Alec and I the opportunity to start working on getting the livery and logo placements of everything on the car.
Next on the list was getting the Wilwood brakes bled and with the bleeder location easily accessible on the caliper, it makes it so much easier! Wrapping up this episode is the full assembly of the massive K&N sprint car filter we’re using! This thing is huge!! Although the car has officially debuted at the SEMA Show, I want to thank everyone for following along as my team and I transform this flood damaged C8 Corvette into a full Formula Drift spec drift car!
