2023 Drift Masters champion Conor Shanahan announced that he will run his own Toyota GT86 in Formula Drift season!
I’ve been Quiet on here, but I’ve been Quiet for good reasons. I’m so happy right now to say for the 2025 FD, I will run my own Toyota GT86 with my program. I’m super excited about how this build came out. I have been heavily involved in the build of this car myself, working alongside 961.motorsport and lots of other amazing people! I can’t thank all my incredible partners enough for giving me this fantastic opportunity. It has been my dream to drive almost identical cars in Drift Masters and Formula Drift, and now we have made that happen! I will do a full video next week on a full breakdown of the vehicle, but now we need to drive and make sure we created a monster! Thank you, everyone, for being patient. Next week, we will see the car’s final look for the season.
