Media are invited to experience unforgettable high-speed demo runs with FD PRO drivers on the Streets of Long Beach course. Attendees can also interview the leading contenders, see new cars, and join the driver press conference.
The 2025 Formula DRIFT season is four weeks away and will open on the Streets of Long Beach course on April 4-5. Before the serious business begins, Formula DRIFT invites accredited media to experience some of the 1200HP competition cars from the passenger seat. We dare you not to scream as the cars brush the walls on the famous Long Beach, CA, street circuit.
The 2025 Formula DRIFT Media Day and demo rides are on April 1, but this is no joke! You must register to attend and receive the safety briefing before taking your ride. Registered media will receive all information on parking, itinerary, designated driver and more.
You’re also invited to join several leading drivers for a press conference and interview opportunity. Attendees will include Formula DRIFT Champions and new inductees as they prepare to battle for the 2025 title.

PLEASE NOTE
- In the interest of safety, long pants and closed-toe shoes are required for all working media
- Media must attend the safety briefing before they can ride
- Crash helmets and liners will be provided, but media are invited to bring their helmet if they prefer
- Entry to competition cars is restricted by the roll cage, tight-fitting seats and safety harnesses — passengers must fit safely to ride
- Cameras cannot be mounted on the exterior of the vehicle but can be held by the passenger
- Limited places are available, so RSVP as soon as possible
- Respondents will receive a Media Day itinerary with location, times, parking instructions, etc

2025 SEASON
As is traditional, the Formula DRIFT PRO Championship kicks off its 2025 season on the Streets of Long Beach on April 4-5. Round 1 of the Link ECU PROSPEC Championship will occur at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on May 8-10, along with Round 2 of FD PRO.
