Round 2 of Oman International Drift Championship is in progress right now in the city of Sohar. Qualification happened yesterday, here we show the results!
Artem Shabanov topped up qualifying with a 93.70 points run, followed by Ahmad Daham who scored 91.30. Local driver Ahmed Al-Amri just made it to the podium during the quali session with a 91.30 but his other score was 76.70, less than Ahmad Daham’s 87.30. Two more European drivers finished in the Top 8, Tomas Kiely’s 90.30 points run was enough for 4th place, while Chris Brady took 6th place with a 89.70. Winner of Round 1, Kuwaiti Ali Makhseed grabbed 7. place after just hitting the 90.00s.
